ASLIHAN İSPİR YAYVAK . ARCHITECT . INTERIOR ARCHITECT . LEED AP . BREEAM ASSESSOR
She was born in Ankara in 1985. After spending years at TED Ankara College, she graduated from the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Middle East Technical University in 2006.
After working on projects for the Canadian Embassy and the General Staff of Jordan, she went to New York to pursue a master's degree in interior architecture at the Pratt Institute School of Art and Design. At the same time, she worked at Skidmore Owings & Merrill. During her time there, she served as a teaching assistant in sustainability courses. She became a LEED AP in 2009 and a BREEAM Assessor in 2010. She gave speeches on sustainability at various universities and panels.
After returning to Turkey, she worked at MOB for a short time before starting to work at Varyap. She took part in almost every design-related task, such as business development, sales office and model flat design, office design, exhibition stand design, catalog and event preparation in projects such as Varyap Meridian, Metropol İstanbul, Varlıbaş Shopping Center, and Varyap Plaza. At the same time, she provided LEED and BREEAM consultancy for the Metropol İstanbul, Erzurum Hospital, and Pendik Plaza projects. Since 2012, she has been practicing architecture, interior architecture, and consultancy at SPR Design, which she co-founded. The Metropol İstanbul Sales Office, Ağaoğlu Ortaköy Guest House, Los Angeles Demirözü House, and Bodrum Yalıkavak Boutique Hotel are some of the projects she has completed.
OĞUZHAN İSPİR . ARCHITECT
He was born in Istanbul in 1991. After his professional swimming career at Büyük Kolej ended due to an injury, he devoted himself to architecture.
He received an education in Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Okan University. To advance more professionally in his career, he later completed an MBA at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Bahçeşehir University.
He worked on the historical preservation, renovation, and landscaping project of Kadıköy Yeldeğirmeni, the historic neighborhood where Istanbul's first apartment projects were built, in collaboration with the Chamber of Architects. At Dome Architecture, he worked as an intern technical office architect on many domestic and international projects. Later, he served as an intern architect on the Varyap Meridian and Metropol İstanbul projects.
Since 2012, he has been practicing architecture, interior architecture, and consultancy at SPR DESIGN, which he co-founded. The Metropol İstanbul Sales Office, Ağaoğlu Ortaköy Guest House, Los Angeles Demirözü House, and Bodrum Yalıkavak Boutique Hotel are some of the projects he has completed.
